SECTION 1
ACADEMIC SUPPORT SERVICES

1.Faculty Advising – Every student is assigned to a homeroom with a faculty adviser. Advisers help enforce school rules and regulations and supervise homeroom student activities.

2. Orientation for New Students and Parents – This actually acquaints students and parents with the school history, objectives, policies, academic, and co-curricular activities, facilities, and resources available for their use.

3. Guidance Center – The center offers various types of assistance all of which are directed toward the welfare of every individual student. These are:

3.1 Informational Service – provides information on course offerings, other schools and universities, various educational programs, etc.

3.2 Individual Inventory Service – involves keeping developmental records of students to give the counselor insights regarding their needs and problems.

3.3 Counseling Service – is a face to face procedure that by reason of training, skill and confidence, the counselor uses to help students perceive, clarify, face, and solve adjustment problems.

3.4 Testing Service – involves gathering pertinent test results data of a student or group of students for varied use by the students themselves, teachers, parents, administrators, and the guidance counselor. The tests given are intelligence, aptitude, personality, achievement, interests, and problem checklist.

3.5 Follow-Up Service – may be in-school or out-of-school follow up of students in terms of academic and non-academic performances, adjustment, schools attended, remedial and enrichment needs, behavioral problems and the like.

3.6 Career Guidance Service – provides students particularly those in the graduating classes, the needed assistance in preparation for the secondary level or for a college course and/or vocation in life.

3.7 Placement Service – consists of provisions for students in matters concerning jobs after college, on-the-job trainings, and student assistance through scholarship grants.

4. Health Center – The center offers both medical and dental services. It is equipped adequately to render maximum assistance in the health care of our student clientele.

SECTION 2
FACILITIES AND OTHER SERVICES

The instructional aid facilities have been organized to promote the most effective learning-teaching process. The school has well-maintained facilities and services. Halls, classrooms, laboratories, administrative offices and other buildings are well-equipped and properly ventilated.


1. Business Center – is used by the Business related courses for a work related approach.

2. Computer Laboratory – provides laboratory facilities for students and teachers in acquiring computer knowledge and skills.

3. Covered Walk – is an environment friendly covered walk that connects the buildings having been built in order that the students and guests of SICC will cross buildings comfortably and leisurely anytime of the day.

4. Food Court – is where sumptuous meal is available. Choice of meat, vegetables, fish and/or pasta is excellently prepared.

5. Front Office Laboratory – is where tourism students hold varied preparations, demonstrations, and presentations for front office work. It is equipped with fax machine, telephone, photocopying machine, computer, appliances, and profile cards for all kinds of appointments.

6. Gym – is a spacious multi-purpose center used for varied activities of the school/student activities and gatherings such as receptions, contests, meetings, sports, and convocations.

7. Function Room – is a flexible and functional space for events and other functions like conferences, meetings and small gathering.

8. Internet Laboratory – is a small laboratory equipped with 10 computer units used for online learning.

9.Learning Resource Center (LRC) – stores a rich, extensive and up-to-date collection of print and non-print educational materials used for classroom teaching. It also stores projects and output of students in educational technology courses.

10. Management Information System (MIS) – is used by students for online learning.

11. Mini-Viewing Room – is a fully air-conditioned and well equipped viewing room of the college department where classes using technology are being held. Aside from that arranged classes, regular faculty meetings and annual deliberations are held in the Mini-Viewing Room.

12. Mock Travel Office - is a fully air-conditioned office with computers, fax machine, telephone and other used to transact appointments for ticket reservations and professional flight and tour advice.

13. Science Laboratory – is fully-equipped with apparatus that support science teaching and learning techniques.

14. Library – provides a collection of sources of information and similar resources, made accessible to a defined community for reference or borrowing. It provides physical or digital access to library materials. The library is fully air-conditioned with comfort rooms, audio-visual room, collaborative room, conference room and research access facility. It also houses artifacts and materials of the indigenous cultures and peoples’ historical past.

15. Waiting Shed – is where students, faculty, and personnel wait for their ride in going home.

SECTION 3
MEDICAL SERVICES

1. Annual physical check-up of all students, faculty, and other school personnel.

2. Emergency treatments of minor ailments. Follow-up if necessary.

3.Consultation during clinic hours.

4. Observation in the clinic of indisposed or sick students. Parents/Guardians are notified by telephone and given medical certificate with instructions.

5.Free medicine for ordinary ailments for the first few doses.

6.Health talks to different year levels as requested.

7. Referral of serious cases to family physicians or specialists.

8. Spotting of communicable diseases and prevention of epidemics and submission of reports to the City Health Office.

9. Medical symposium with invited speakers in coordination with different health agencies to students and PTA.

10. Issuance of medical certificates for students who will have an on-the-job training.

SECTION 4
DENTAL SERVICES

1. Annual mouth examination of all students, faculty, and personnel and issuance of dental certificate for procedure such as:

1.1. Filling
1.2. Complicated dental extraction
1.3. Prophylaxis
1.4. Orthodontic procedure


2. Emergency treatments for relief of toothaches.

3. One free oral prophylaxis as scheduled (optional).

Tuesdays – Thursdays	-	01:00 p.m. – 03:00 p.m.

Nurse’s Service Hours:

Weekdays (Mon-Sat)	-	08:00 a.m. – 05:00 p.m.
Weeknights (Mon-Sat)	-	05:00 p.m. – 09:00 p.m.
Saturdays		- 	8:00 a.m. - 12:00 nn.
